RunScape Adventures has two unbeatable value 7-night holidays available for you in October 2026. Experienced run leaders take you out to different spectacular locations every day. All transport is included and this is what sets us apart from other running holidays, which often have the same start point every day. We take you out so that you get to explore large sections of the wonderful Algarve.

All abilities of runner will be catered for with our ratio of one run leader to every 6 runners. After your running adventure, you can relax by the hotel pool in our high-spec accommodation or venture out to visit quaint local towns and stunning beaches.

We get a fabulous mix of solo travellers and groups of friends on our camps. We also get a very equal male/female ratio.

Can't decide which week to book?

You could always book for both weeks and have some recovery days to make the most of the on-site facilities! Boa Vista is a fabulous resort. Facilities include padel courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a championship golf course, luxury spa and restaurants. Find out more on the information pages too!

Transport

Which airport should I book to fly into?

Faro, Portugal is the closest airport and the one we provide transfers from.

What time should I arrive?

Mid morning or early afternoon is normally best. We understand this may not always be possible. We provide transfers throughout the day but if you are thinking of booking an unusual flight time please check this with us before booking.

Will someone be there to pick me up?

Yes. A RunScape representative will meet you at the airport to take you to our accommodation.

Can I drive to the location?

You can get some great car hire deals in the Algarve. We provide transport whilst you are on camp but If you wish to do some extra exploring or extend your trip, then this is definitely an option.

Is transport provided during the training holiday?

Yes. We provide all training transport during your holiday. We also do regular trips to local towns to food shop, you are always welcome to join us!

Training

What is the ability of the groups?

All abilities are welcome! Every session can be differentiated to cater for different distances and paces. There is an opportunity at the start of the week to have a chat with us and cover anything you are unsure of.

Do I have to do every session?

No, it’s your holiday! Every session is optional and in some cases we recommend not attending them all. The schedule is an ‘example’ only and we get a good idea of abilities early in the week. We keep a close eye on everyone and push those that need a push and rest up those that need a bit of recovery.

What if I get injured?

It’s still your holiday! We can adapt sessions and there’ll still be a lot to see and do.

What sports clothing do I need to bring?

There are washing machines in each apartment so you can definitely get away with hand luggage on the plane. Remember to bring warm and wet weather gear and a hydration pack. Two pairs of trainers are recommended in case one pair gets wet and enough running kit for three days.

Do I need my own nutrition?

You are welcome to bring your own but we there will also be the opportunity to purchase extra snacks during camp.

Accommodation

Where is the accommodation located?

We stay in Luz, a 50 minute drive from Faro airport. The Boa Vista resort is easily accessible to Luz and Lagos. Lagos is a beautiful old town with lots of shops, cafe’s and amenities.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

Each apartment has 2 bedrooms, a living area, a kitchen area and a bathroom. If booking as an individual, we ask that guests share twin rooms with someone of the same gender. If booking as a couple you will have your own room. You can also choose to have an individual room when you book.

Can I have my own room?

You can request a single room within the apartment when reserving your holiday. There is a £200 supplement.

Can I come early or stay later?

We will try and facilitate this where possible. Please email us with your requirements and we can get you a quote.

Catering

What food is available for breakfast?

Breakfast is included for the guests on both weeks. The on-site restaurant has a very wide range available including cereals, fruits, porridge, toasts, jam’s, a hot buffet, continental choices, pastries, yoghurts, tea & coffee and juices are available.

Guests also have extensive cooking facilities in their fully equipped apartment if they would like something different.

Where do we go for dinner?

There are lots of lovely local places to eat out. There will also be a few evenings when we can all eat together at the complex.

Do you cater for different dietary requirements?

Yes we do! There will always be a large choice of food on offer. Please email us with any specific requirements.

Payments

What is the deposit payment to secure my booking?

To secure your place we require a £150 deposit per person. This payment is non-refundable and is requested upon completion of the booking form.

When does the balance have to be paid?

Money is due for the full amount 10 weeks prior to the departure date.

General

Can I bring my non-training partner over?

Yes. A lot of athletes bring their partners on holiday with them, just mention it on the booking form.

Do you allow kids to come?

We don’t allow U16’s. If you have a non-training partner coming too and have kids over the age of 15, please email us for a price.

Can I go off and do my own thing?

Absolutely, It’s your holiday!

Do you take us on excursions or take us to see the local sights?

There will be options most days to explore the local sights and beaches.
